Ginger water recipe:
-1 glass of water
-1 teaspoon honey
-1 teaspoon lemon juice
-10 – 12 small pieces of ginger
In a vessel, add 1 cup of water and let the water boil. Then add 10-12 slices of ginger (peeled and grated and sliced). Fresh ginger or dried ginger, both the options are acceptable, but using fresh slices of ginger is preferable because using fresh pieces would be more effective. Then let the water boil for few minutes till the water absorbs the essence and flavor of ginger.
Alternatively one can boil the water and when it is totally boiled it can be added to the glass with the slices of ginger and cover it for 10 – 15 minutes so that the hot water will absorb its nutrients. Both the way is effective to lose fats.
Then heat off the pan and keep the pan aside to cool down. Once the water reaches the lukewarm temperature strain it out using a kitchen strainer. Then pour the ginger water into a glass, and add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and stir it well.
Then add 1 teaspoon of honey in it and stir it well till the honey dissolves. Make sure the water is at lukewarm temperature before adding honey and lemon juice to it and then the tasty ginger water would be ready to serve.
The ginger water is to have twice a day. It is more beneficial when it’s taken before or after the meals. Consuming it daily would help in giving fast results. Have an only medium glass of ginger water at a time, which means only 2 glass of ginger water a day because ginger, when taken in higher doses, can cause heartburn and gas.
